ROCK, four moves
Before you hand over a task, cover these four. Together they spell ROCK - the delegation method for Cowork and Claude Code, the English rendering of the SKOK method.
The tool in front of you has been ready for a while. What slows most of us down is a habit we carry over from chat: asking one small thing at a time, from inside the task. ROCK is a short brief that flips it - you hand over the whole result and let the tool work back. Four moves: Result, Output, Context, Know.
Chatting means steering every keystroke: one question, the answer, the next question. It kept us in control when the tools were small. Advanced tools reward the opposite - describe the outcome you want, then let the tool plan the steps.
The shift is to think about your work top-down, from the result your business needs, instead of from inside, one line at a time. The tool can hold the whole shape at once. Usually the limit is not the tool; it is our habit of thinking linearly.
